Green if it is chem, pink if it is physics. But math is always blue.
Chemistry? Green? Wtf. Green is obviously biology! Chemistry is yellow. There, I said it! Good day to you, sir!

Math is red. Science is blue or green. Depends on the type. Although chem is yellow if there is one. Orange is geography or history.

History = Red
If you're a student: Green. If you're a researcher: Blue. If you're tenured; Purple, Pink, or Orange. If you're a US Defence Contractor: Red.

Science (incl math) is green. Blue is geography. Orange is sports. Pink is Entertainment. Art and Literature apparently can be either purple or brown. You're still missing yellow for history.

All of the Star Trek timelines agree, Science is blue.

The factory must grow. All colors are science colors.
Science is the BEST subject so it gets the BEST color which is PURPLE

Physics glows blue, biology glows green and chemistry is an angry yellow. That's just sense.
Science generically gets green
But once you reach the point where they're separate subjects, biology is green, physics is purple, chemistry is green if you don't take biology otherwise its pink
Whatever your opinions on these though, I present:
Green because it glows
Science is blue because in every 4x game I've ever played the science icons are some form of blue.
