Pretty self-explanatory but the idea is to combine the "share" logo with the crossbones. The message is peers 2 peers, from many to many, sharing is caring, but the deisgn still recalls the awesome pirate flag.

Add a dot on top and below the middle dot to form a hexagonal shape. Hexagons are the bestagons!
But then it isn’t a crossbones and hexagons, whilst being very bestagon-y, are not really obviously related to piracy

This stands well enough on its own. And the skull, although kinda classy in an edgy way, will always hold a rather negative connotation.
Call me corny but a little floppy disk or a globe or something could be cool

It looks like the main historical elements used in pirate vexillology were:
a skull
a skeleton
crossbones
a sword, spear, or dagger
a heart, often bleeding
an hourglass
elements of period seagoing clothing
Minimal and good, I like it

It also looks like a central node branching off into four, showing centralisation over peers.
Maybe a more spherical structure with links between all nodes?
It looks a little like the World Government flag from One Piece.
Well I like it, it‘s fairly simple and that is good for logos.
