IMO it's just so much more usable than any other client. Also looks way better.

It needs a few things before I'd use it:

A tray icon (there's a pull request)

Pasting image support (there's a pull request)

And theming.

There's a few themes already that are quite good. Do you mean custom theming? I also have a desktop icon on Gnome.

I don't like any of the themes, i'd like to be able to choose my own colors.

tried it once. within 24 hours my system was running out of ram. massive memory leak.
