Nah, it blocked all cookies. Blocking is what eclipses are best at.

Frail? That shit looks awesome.

[-] RealFknNito@lemmy.world 14 points 5 months ago

Yeah if that's frail then my understanding of my hobby is diseased and bedridden.

Looks like an obstacle Mario has to avoid in bowsers castle

Really cool photo! Well done ๐Ÿ™‚

Just curious, why is the light for the partial eclipse that specific color vs the full eclipse? Stylistic?

You need to use a filter or you will damage your camera lens. This is why you have the red glow. A full eclipse is the only part you can look without a filter.

I'm not sure how they took their photos, but mine looked the similar since I needed to use a filter when not in the total eclipse

[-] WaliBoi@lemmy.world 4 points 5 months ago

I used a cheap o filter on my lens that was basically a version of the glasses if it was bigger enough to fit the lens. It also didn't help that I didn't have a telephoto lens for this photoshoot to capture more of the detail and I probably didn't white balance correctly.

I want this as a print. So good.

You did a great job, it can be difficult to capture an eclipse well.

[-] Anticorp@lemmy.world 4 points 5 months ago

That's awesome!

[-] Sam_Bass@lemmy.world 3 points 5 months ago

Someones gonna use that as an album cover

Very cool. I didnt have the patience

[-] Twinkletoes@lemm.ee 1 points 5 months ago

Very cool but Iโ€™d prefer it if there was only one full eclipse in the middle. Just my two cents.
