what is the best pet class and why is it mechanist 😅

The mechs suck.

Not the class, those stupid green bots. There is almost no variety and the AI and controls are even embarrassing to the short bus.

All they need to do to fix it, allow different looks if only outside of combat. Also, let us put them away and they stay away until we call them back down.

Also, best pet class is the minionmancer.

Is it just me or is the sPvP matchmaking all over the place?

[–] berdandy@mstdn.games 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

@meldrik not just you. Mathematically, say (generously) 10% of the population plays PvP regularly… and 10% of those happen to be playing at the same time of day, and with 5v5, you need 10 players, that means gw2’s entire estimated daily population of 350k players per day can support (0.1*0.1*0.1*350k) = 350 simultaneous PvP players. And that’s assuming they’re all the same skill (and bots aren’t artificially inflating the daily numbers)

@meldrik granted, there’s a bucketload of assumptions in those percentages but games with “good matchmaking” simply have more people playing.

That makes sense, because you can easily end up with or against people from any skill bracket. I've played as silver with people from platinum 😅
