Not sure I believe this at all but I would absolutely love it. Oblivion changed my perception of RPGs

Highly doubt its a remake. Perhaps maybe a remaster, but Oblivion isnt even that old.

Morrowind needs the real re-release. Was more fun than Oblivion and Skyrim IMO. Cannot wait to see how Skywind turns out.

"Oblivion isn't even that old" Dude Skyrim is that old. They are people driving cars who didn't exist when Oblivion came out 17 years ago.

Honestly the fact that Oblivion is as old now as Ultima III was when Oblivion came out is utterly destroying me right now.

I wouldn't trust any commercial studio with a Morrowind remake. OpenMW + Tamriel Rebuilt is where it's at.

I dont know that I really want a remake. Thats why I said it needs a re-release. There are certainly things that can be improved, but I feel like an AI upscaling textures and models would be more faithful to the original than modern artists.

Oblivion isnt even that old.

I just checked and oh god it's 17 years old this year. Please excuse me while I go turn into dust.

I guess that is one way to give us more Elder Scrolls. Virtuos is a good developer, so hopefully it'll be a good remake/remaster.

Oblivion honestly aged worse than Morrowind so this is great news.

It did, but it's got that nostalgic magic for me. No matter how janky!
