I want open borders in the US

Bring back the second half of the 1800s. Back then Chicago was 80% immigrant or child of immigrant. We need more population to counterbalance China in the coming century.

Also, "bring me your hungry, your tired, your weary" etc was an ideology I was raised on and I actually believe in it even though I know you're not supposed to

No Border, No Nation!

Everyone but me has the option of being out of my arm's reach.

"Let's get some stepped up Personal Space up in this place."

You have the option to remove your arms and get them out of your reach.

Good point, I'll be out of my arm's reach too.

So maybe: "everyone but me has the option of not thinking like me", or "the option of not being where I am".

People should take care about their privacy, but they don't!

It used to be how the toilet paper should hang. Over or under? Majority of people say over!

[โ€“] andrr_464@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago

Over is the correct way

This is a question that is lower quality and won't lead to a good discussion. Removing under rule #1.

If this was removed, how come it came up for me? Did it get reinstated or just a function of how fediverse works?

Federation of deletions when the moderator deleting a post isn't on the same insurance as the community is hosted is mostly broken at the moment but should be fixed in the next release of the Lemmy software.

Being relatively smart sucks so much.

Working hard feels really good.

Out of the environmental disasters that are the common agriculture and fishing policies

And I'm anti-federalist. I don't see any good examples to emulate in Russia, China or the US.

I think political power needs to be decentralised, representative democracy was needed before, it isn't now we have the technology to communicate at the speed of light
