Turn a traffic citation into an arrest warrant with this one simple trick!

Looks like the court knows about SovCit idiots and how to deal with them. Good.

It’s Texas, I’m sure 50% of their cases go like this

Narrator: It was not the end of it. In fact, it was just the beginning.

Can you actually request a jury trial for a traffic ticket?

[–] PlasterAnalyst@kbin.social 9 points 9 months ago

I believe this would be considered a civil matter in most jurisdictions. Most municipal "courts" have little or no power, especially not the ability to issue arrest warrants. Of course in my state, traffic tickets go to county court. Some municipalities in my state have hearings for code violations, to call it a court would be absurd though, as you can challenge their ruling in real court.

IANAL but isn't it like a constitutional right? It might depend on the type of charge

What you do in your free time is up to you, are you a lawyer or not?

[–] holycrap@lemm.ee 3 points 9 months ago

The letter seems to imply you can

It seemed to annoy them that they wouldn't leave them alone.

Haha. Man I’d love to these types of posts collected into a timeline of delusion crashing into consequence.

Does anyone have experience using NFTs for bail bonds?
