I was blown away by Oppenheimer. Best picture of the year so far for me. I am excited to see it again so I can start ingesting all the morsels.
The test scene will haunt me for years. Its both beautiful and devastating. This movie has deeply affected me. I loved it.
The cinematography was spectacular as well as an incredible narrative structure. The layers of symmetry in the story telling and editing were top notch, and there was so much to the story that I had never heard before ( and I am sure plenty of embellishment as well, but we'll see those things rise to the surface over the next few weeks/months ).
