Looks awesome, would you mind sharing your conky?

[-] MyNameIsRichard@lemmy.ml 10 points 7 months ago

It's not a conky. It's the cpu, memory, net, and weather widgets that should come with KDE unless you've done a minimal install.

Is Million-voices a reference to the song by Tusse?

[-] MyNameIsRichard@lemmy.ml 2 points 7 months ago* (last edited 7 months ago)

It's much sadder than that. It's a reference to the sci-fi show Andromeda. Million Voices

[-] clay_pidgin@sh.itjust.works 2 points 7 months ago

I love (the first 2 seasons) of Andromeda. Cool name.

Here is an alternative Piped link(s):

song by Tusse?

Can you tell me how did you set up it?

[-] MyNameIsRichard@lemmy.ml 1 points 7 months ago

If you mean the bottom one, I

  • Added an empty panel
  • Added the Icons only Task Manager widget to it
  • Dragged my chosen programs to it from the menu
  • Went into edit mode
  • Dragged the minimum size handles to match the icons, leaving the maximum size handles as they were
  • Centred the panel

I don't think there was any more to it.

[-] MazonnaCara89@lemmy.ml 1 points 7 months ago

Yes the bottom one. Thanks for letting me know!

This is great, indeed most of the stuff shared in here is great, is there any Linux distro that has a good look by default BTW, I know this is subjective, but I mean Unixporn material ofc.
