Tribal Secretary Sam Strong said in an interview with MPR News that it’s an opportunity to regulate business at a time when fentanyl is being found more often in cannabis products.

“Fentanyl has been taking a deadly toll in our community,” said Strong. “We want to make sure that we’re protecting those that choose to participate.”

Reservations throughout the state are expected to start selling recreational cannabis before licensed shops, who may have to wait until 2025.

fentanyl is a real problem, I have not heard of nor could I find anything with a quick search that fentanyl is being found in cannabis products at all ever let alone more often. So is this guy another moron running his mouth about stuff he nothing about or am I missing something..because I find that type of rhetoric problematic and reprehensible.

Speaking from MI where it's been legal for a few years... prepare for an overwhelming number of billboards advertising local cannabis shops. :)
