I have this problem that every time I type this character ' the entire engine doesn't let me type any more. The entire keyboard stops working, and even shortcuts stop working. The mouse still works fine. I have to reloasd the project to fix this. Has anyone else had this issue before? (Running Debian 12)

Perhaps it's a dead key in tour keyboard layout. If you press "e" after, do you get "é"?

You can choose a No Dead Keys layout, but then need to use a compose key to write accented characters.

I do not get any fancy characters, I just get nothing. On the main post, I commented which exact key I'm talking about...

I've never had this issue (running Nobara 39). I have no idea why that'd happen, but you could try the Flatpak version of Godot to see if it's more stable for you.

Open a terminal and run xev. Then figure out what that key really is. Then open a bug report on godot github.

It's a meta key on Windows and Linux. Has nothing to do with godot. Press it again, or press escape.

Unfortunately that does not do anything. I press escape, I press the key again, nothing happens. I put a comment on the main post to show a picture of which exact key I mean.
