This is also a TV box. See the IR receiver function as well. Think of it more like an enabler board for the tremendous output.

No 110mm support?

Ever since I've found out that cheap 110mm drives exist, I've been using the hell out of them.

I got 2 x 3.8TB 110mm drives for $125/ea off eBay. Only 400gb written and 1.5tb read. Practically brand new.

No ECC RAM for ZFS is a disappointment.

Two HDMI outputs for a NAS board... Seems indeed bit silly. But honest question, what’s the intention of the HDMI input?

Honestly can’t think of a reason beyond built in capture or pass through.
