God, the costume design in that show was awful. I guess it was on par with the writing and plot though so at least consistent.
I thought it was wonderful. There were a few moments were the dialog was like “hmm” but for the most part it was amazing. There are a lot of details…I liked it.
Me too. Was it perfect? No. Did it manage to capture the tone of the books and the atmosphere of the original movie trilogy? Absolutely.
I haven't watched it yet but the picture and filming looks good, even if the costume design doesn't look right.
You might want to keep it that way.
I found it visually and musically stunning. The rest was...not very good.
