Damn right we aren't loyal to politicians. Are you looking for a leftist Trump? Jon Stewart is not the "left" so I'm not sure why you're mentioning him at all.
The left is not looking for a coach. We are hiring an employee.
I think what they mean is we're hiring an employee, but everyone doing the interviews believes themselves working at a different company.
Honestly? They are. America is so right-wing that "The Left" encompasses a wide spectrum of ideologies that would all have their own political parties in Europe. Socialists have as much in common with liberals as liberals do with centrists, yet the Dems expect the first two to vote for them while they try to court the conservative leaning side of the centrists.
And this is why we're never going to win. You're not even playing the game. You're preaching on a pedestal of quick sand. Trying to yell how morally better you are while your sinking is a bad position to be in. Maybe the reason why fascists win is because the opposition continues to act like they're better when you need to break free of your base instinct. Like ants in a death spiral. We all circle tighter and tighter into our groups defensively.
A big part of why they're winning in my opinion is not their appeal but a rejection of the left. And it's becoming clear that maybe that's a smart choice given that the left can't accomplish anything.

No it isn't. Show me an example where the left has won recently? If the amount of ground lost in the past 10 years isn't a wake up call then you all deserve it. You all keep calling everyone dumb while you're being beat and you refuse to recognize it. You're not losing because they're just good at things. You're losing because you are the dumb ones.
