My condolences for being stuck with Verizon. Learned the hard way that any phone originally from their network can't have its bootloader unlocked, even if the manufacturer otherwise supports it.
Yeah I had heard about that with some phones so I asked specifically for an unlockable phone, unlockable from verizon and from android and the rep assured me it was, blatantly lying. I'm poor sadly and rely on my moms family plan so i really had no choice in the end.
