The admins managed to get Hexbear.net back and the sale of the domain was stopped.

Lemmy was for while like 50% bots, which is why you see random shifts generally.
Could be something else though
Probably a bot instance being removed
It was President's Day in the US, but I don't know why that would impact Lemmy.
US workers had the day off to do other stuff than scroll Lemmy at work
