Hows that "bleed Russia out slowly" strategy working out blue conservatives?
Regardless Russia has lost the war. A phyric victory isn't a win.
These delusions are what keep you from choosing the correct course of action in your political life.
As long as you refuse to see reality simply because you dislike it, you're gonna keep fighting shadows while your enemy robs you of everything.
Delusion is to see this as good military performance from Russia.
Delusion is seeing Russia achieving their war goals (not the stupid fever dreams libs conjured up, but the stated war goals that serious analysts acknowledge), Ukraine near a complete state of collapse, their western sponsor squeezing them for ransom like we always said would happen, while Russia's economy became the 4th largest in the world in terms of GDP adjusted for PPP during the course of the war, and then declare: "no, you see! This is a defeat in every way that counts".
Terminally childish.
Russia has failed at their political objectives as well, and those matter more thanthe military ones
Doesn't have to be good to be successful.
And I'm saying that it has been so bad as to be a failure regardless of how it ends for Russia.
