Original PS2 resolution on a modern monitor is a bit too spicy for me. It looks like you're playing a Youtube video from 2006
No I mean I render the game at 4k or 1080p or whatever the native res of the monitor I’m playing it on is. Upscaling is when you render it at a low resolution, likely the native ps2 resolution and then just scale that image higher
Looks like I may have been misusing the word "upscale" for years
