It's so funny that the US thinks it can win wars
The US thinks it has won a number of wars because it killed more people

Me hoping colonial and Imperial powers war with each other and maintain that mentality and compete hard for top spot at the leader board.
That's actually why the US murdered so many civilians in Vietnam, McNamara thought that a more easily verifiable number like KDR meant more than harder to assess metrics like "oposition to the invasion" or "support of the communist party".
Business Brain at work, gotta hit those KPIs regardless of material reality.
