The US Americans. Pretty sure the rest of America doesn't have crazy egg prices, right?

There are two more countries in North America and a bunch more in South America.

All the Caribbean countries are in NA, and Central America.
Not to mention Greenland and France.
How many of them commonly refer to themselves as Americans?
As many as they want to.
So, a number approaching zero? I'd cede the point if people from other parts of the Americas were wanting to be called American. But they overwhelmingly don't.
As an American I support this position 100%. I'd be next to them saying the same if I could afford anything beyond scraping by daily.
