So wait, is it like using lemmy? I mean with choosing a server for your account. (Looks lke it, yes) ~~Does it have a "front page" like lemmy~~? (It does)
~~Is it subject oriented, or person to person like twitter~~. (Person oriented, and tags for subjects)
Edit: Im editing in (my findings) while taking a looksee.

It's basically mastodon with a different front end. No fundamental differences.
Can it cross federate? Or at least within pixel fed, how easy is it for instances to federate? I've found that mastodon requires at least one person from a different instance following you before your stuff federates there
That's good to know thanks. I don't use mastodon or anything like Twitter/Facebook.
