Summary

Starting Jan. 1, Medicare will cap annual out-of-pocket prescription drug costs at $2,000, as mandated by the Inflation Reduction Act.

This cap, applying to Medicare Part D drugs, is expected to provide significant relief to millions, especially cancer patients, who often face unaffordable medication costs.

Previously, patients could spend over $7,000 annually before catastrophic coverage. Around 3.2 million enrollees are projected to save by 2025, with many seeing savings over $1,000.

While some argue $2,000 remains high, advocates see this as a critical step in easing financial burdens for retirees on fixed incomes.

yet another thing to mention when I talk about how to me biden was the best president of my lifetime.

I feel like Obama did much more than Biden in advancing the quality of life for Americans in just his first term. I wish he hadn't stayed in the Middle East, but that's the most major of my few complaints about Obama.

I can't really point to much from the first term outside of aca. I can point to tons from bidens first term. Don't get me wrong I liked obama and biden had the complete experience with the bs from being on his administration. I think if obama had all the experience. Like could do it again. I bet he would have gotten a ton done.
