Agreed. I like Dwayne but it feels like he's playing the same role in the same way in every movie at this point.

I wouldn't have said that a few years ago, but I think Bautista is trying a lot harder to be an actual actor instead of just a big name for marketing. And seeing the roles he's had recently, I think it's working.

Bautista is definitely the better actor and seems like the better human being as well.

I remember reading a bit of an interview with Bautista that said he didn't want to be typecast as the big gorilla-sized henchmen or strongman in every movie. He has a great range imo. I loved his small part in Bladerunner 2049 at the beginning of the movie
