I thought that most people were still not able to get accounts on Loops, like weren't they still rate-limiting to sth like 1 account per day recently - has that changed?
If nothing else, though, it seems like people might actually be posting OC now. When I first got there, it was like a single account blatantly reposting from TikTok, Instagram, etc. Like the 9gag of short-video content. Seems potentially better going back into it now.
I would not know - I still don't have an account!:-P
It's great fun watching them on !loops@midwest.social though.
I don’t really mind someone reposting stuff at first just to get content on the service.
They were for a while, but I think the process has opened up a bit?
