My mother has said of my brother and I since we were born. "He isn't satisfied burning the candle at both ends, he also takes a blowtorch to the middle."
My brother and I still sleep only 4 hours a night in our 40s
How old are you in human years?
I'm 44, he's 41
I would've thought that you were twins and thought that 8 hours of sleep meant for both of you together.
Not that I get 8 hours of sleep, mind you
Ahh, I see the confusion, lol. No we just seem not to need any more sleep than that, much to my mother's dismay. She needs 7-8 hours a night.
What other years might they have interpreted without the qualification?
How the fuck? 3 nights of not enough sleep and I want to kill myself and anyone who stands in the way of me getting some sleep.
I suspect my mother felt the same way. I don't know why my brother and I don't need sleep, we are not that much of an anomaly though. There have been a ton of famous people that had similar sleep patterns. We don't feel that 4 hours is not enough, in fact if I were to try to sleep more, my body will make me restless so that I get up.
Yup, it's a gene.
