Tbf when Max Verstappen is not able to keep his car properly on track no one can expect that from Antonelli. Also, I'm not certain where Mayländer crashed the safety car, but wasn't that the same spot? (Edit: No, I don't think it was.)

The track definitely has low grip because of the resurfacing, it for sure did not help Antonelli and Maylander.

Yes but I imagine the team would have told Antonelli not to do 110% laps for his first few push laps. Or they didnt, in that case its their own fault.

Edit: ok Toto just said on air that he told Antonelli "drive like you want, no one cares about a FP".. while Shovlin said that Antonelli drove in a way that the car simply isnt able to lol
