50% of the votes are downvotes, so I think a lot of people are having the same reaction, but not actually watching it.
have you tried posting a webm to lemmy?
I haven't. I've only posted a couple of text based posts so far. I'm not much of a poster, more of a prolific commenter.
there isn't video hosting like reddit and I can better manage my storage on my own instance than use up what is limited by donations.
