I wish I could've enjoyed some hallucinogens before my memory went to shit. I'm just hoping it's my ADHD and not early onset dementia. ๐Ÿ™ƒ

I feel ya brother, I have ADHD too and my memory is shit, you should be good to do some psychedelics, permanent damage usually doesn't happen unless you take entirely too much or you try something like taking some every day, you need to let your brain and psyche rest.

If you're interested I would recommend checking out erowid.com and making sure whatever you do you cross check any interactions with any medications you're taking.

Omg. Erowid is still around? I used to browse that sucker in the 90โ€™s making mental checklists of all the stuff I was gonna try out when I got out of HS ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

Going strong! Plus it seems they're looking for UX designers to make the site more mobile friendly, might be a job for someone on lemmy

Also this is going to sound crazy but if you're on antidepressants or anti anxiety drugs it's best to not take them for three or more days before you trip. They will severely decrease the effect.

Yes, specifically SSRI's, I'm currently on them and while you will trip, it won't be traditional, you'll mostly get the mental effects while missing out on the visual effects
