There will be a few matches, especially at the beginning of the championship, so that would be nice to have a way to get them automatically created.

For the movies bot, do you plan to use it for !movies@lemm.ee , !movies@lemmy.world , both?

We've been trying to have regular threads on !movies@lemm.ee , but we could definitely use a bot to track them more closely

Oh no have I gotten myself involved into a community drama

My plan was the lemmy.world community but I have no real objection to doing it for both, and then it'll get detected as a cross post, and displayed once to people who are seeing either or both communities. (This operating on the assumption that it's wanted on the lemm.ee community also.) How's that sound? I just don't want anyone to yell at me

That sounds great! Can I create a thread on !movies@lemm.ee so that we can keep discussing this, or do you have a Matrix / XMPP address that we can use to chat for potential debugging of the bot? I would normally DM you but unfortunately I'm pretty sure DMs do not federate between Lemmy and Mbin

Yeah, creating a thread for it sounds good. I'm looking at it now 👍🏻. I have matrix but pretty rarely use it
