I’m only using Siri to set a timer for cooking or laundry.
I don’t feel like it’s reliable enough to use it for anything else.
If some people are using it a lot, could you tell me what for?
I’d want it to assist me in a calendar and the organization of my kids custody, but it’s really not ready for important things with particularities..
I use it on a Homepod Mini to toggle different lights and a fan. In my previous apartment I used it to control a window AC. Sometimes I tell it to pause my AppleTV if I can't find the remote quick enough. I use it with FindMy when I lose my keys or bag or whatever else (I have a lot of AirTags). Other than controlling devices I mostly use it for weather reports and timers.
It’s handy when I’m riding my motorcycle and I want to give the phone commands as I keep my phone in my pocket. I have a shortcut where I say, “Go Home” and it launches Waze with my home as the destination.
