Anyone who didn't see themselves as self important would have noticed the consistent downvotes and taken the hint.

To normal people they are social feedback
Can't sell them, but they have value in telling you that others dislike the content. At the very least put the answer in a comment with a spoiler tag. But realistically, it's lazy content.
