The "G" in "Lasagna" is silent
Sure, but what does lasagna have to do with being silent?
It’s a metaphor.
The “g” is silent in the pronunciation of lasagna.
This gives the meaning that “real gangsters” operate silently.

Except it's not really, because it changes how the N is pronounced
Gotcha, so it'd be "real g's are soft like lasagna"
