You would think...but I got banned for "things you would not hear a tankie say for 1000, Alex" on one of the more "politically militant" instances where there was a negative news story posted about China.

...still makes me laugh though.

I've already made the decision to defed .ml for their commie registration form stunt. Hearing shit like this makes me want to start my own world news sub. Blackjack and hookers optional.

TBH Blackjack & Hookers should be required. Coccaine & dead hookers should be optional.

The amount of times I didn't realize on what instance I was before commenting and then being called a nazi I way to high. My general lemmy experience improved a lot when instance banning became a thing and hexbear finally disappeared out of my feed.
