My primary account was made in 2017 on mastodon.xyz and the instance appears to be down. Does anyone know what is going on with it? Is this a temporary thing or is it gone forever?

To http://mastodon.xyz users: we're down, the domain was apparently supended by the .xyz registry. I can't get in touch with them, or my registrar, before tomorrow so expect a few hours of downtime

Waiting for a reply from .xyz registry, they say max 48h, hoping it will be quicker.
