Hi peeps, it's been a bit over 24 hours since we went online with PornLemmy, and whew you are some horny dudettes. 14.000 unique individuals visited us, totaling 144GB of internet traffic. Not bad for a start, thank you and come again.

Also, please consider donating $1 to us - it would make a huge difference helping this Lemmy instance survive.

This should be the only solution, because all the work has been done on the main interface of https://pornlemmy.com . If you use a mobile app, or you visit us from another instance where we have no control over (ie https://lemmy.world/c/pornlemmy@pornlemmy.com), you won't see PL the way it's meant to be seen.

Why is it it that we cannot see content from PL on mobile apps? I'm new to Lemmy still trying to understand the whole federated structure scheme. In the join-lemmy.org getting started guide it is stated that "posts created by one instance can be directly seen by users who are registered in another".

Why is it then that I cannot see posts from my mobile app? I'd really be consuming way more content here if I could access it from my phone ^^`

You can, just like with any other Lemmy instance. However, the experience would probably be subpar. We've done some work on the web frontend to make PornLemmy look the way it looks right now, and the only way to see it that way is to go to https://pornlemmy.com directly. Using a mobile app, or viewing through other instances (thank you for the guide btw), would cancel all our efforts. And https://pornlemmy.com looks okish on phone browsers.

Forget it, I have now understood how it works. An by the way, I don't think this is the only solution! :)

I got it to work in Comnect by signing up on their instance, and then adding my account to connect. Just so you know 👀
