There's still a Reddit 196? I thought they shut down and moved here after the API changes
I was surprised when I saw they opened up again. And not even a link to here or anything. Does anyone know what's up with that?
they had a vote asking people (on reddit) if they wanted it to reopen or not. Lmao

Probably would've gotten the same result even if you asked the absent users. Lemmy 196 is nice and lively as far as Lemmy goes, but it's no match to reddit's userbase, and that one has clearly gotten tired of the protest after a while.
Links to Lemmy are basically banned on Reddit. As is closing a subreddit. They'll replace the admins and reopen.
Didn't the Admins of reddit just kill off accounts of mods that don't comply with reopening?
Reddit admins reopen sub & kicked the mods then appointed new mods across many subs that didn't comply.
