Chronicle the life and tale of the fediverse (+ matrix)

Largely a sublemmy about capturing drama, from fediverse spanning drama to just lemmy drama.

Includes lore like how a instance got it's name, how an instance got defederated, how an admin got doxxed, fedihistory etc

(New) This sub's intentions is to an archive/newspaper, as in preferably don't get into fights with each other or the ppl featured in the drama

Blahaj's admin has refederated with Hexbear, using most Blahaj users unhappy and baffled. No communication from the admins regarding the change, though one user speculated it was a halloween trick. Multiple pings to the admin Ada have gone unanswered, even though Ada is clearly still active on Lemmy.

Also a mystery to me how anyone, Ada included, could possibly conclude Hexbear had anything of value to offer anyone. Any trans people on Hexbear rather than somewhere else are sure to be joining in Hexbear shit like genocide denial.

I guess they consider trans solidarity important enough to look past that.

Man, if Lemmy was as popular as Reddit I can't even imagine the drama we'd have. Even now it is wild sometimes.

You mean transphobic solidarity. Both instances are transphobic.

There were jews who supported the nazis. Some people are weird, in a bad way.

Oh, that's easy. Ada and Hexbear are both transphobic. She's a liberal who protects the right of her users to "opt out of politics", which is not only semantic nonsense, but dangerous rhetoric.
