Spoiling races was the one thing I hoped we would leave with Reddit. I mean, considering the current state of F1 Max winning isn't really a surprise. That doesn't make it okay. When/if Lemmy supports Spoiler tags, I hope we can enforce this rules for at least the first 24 hours after a race.
Nah, the argument here is the same as it was before.
Couldn't watch the race? Stay off of the F1 discussion board until you have watched it
There's literally nobody adversely affected by spoiler free titles. And the benefits are people don't have to re-follow - why would not do this?
The problem is it appears on all so it can't be avoided unless you go full blackout
There's no "staying off the board" it pops up on your feed when you're subscribed. It's like you don't know how many of this works. The only way to avoid it is to unsubscribe. Which I did.
