Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).
Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

Since I am a GNOME user, and GNOME is the closest DE to perfection, integrating commonly used addons will be enough to make it the undisputable king.
Integrate:
The amount of space all this currently takes on a 1366x768 screen is 18 pixels height.

It's just an opinion, and social media is about sharing those, no?
He wasn't saying "you are wrong", he is saying "I think this".
If seems a lot of people today don't understand the difference between expressing their opinions and telling someone they are wrong.
Two contradicting opinions can exist without any conflict.
Why? Its clean. You cannot make it cleaner without lesser information. And only the top bar exists on screen.
