American in Bedford. Life story aside, how does one make friends? I wasn't even good at it back home, and now they've made me a parent governor. If that's my only social outlet, I'm terrified I'll become some kind of weirdo normal person.

Are there any esoteric cultists, dangerous outlaws, or menaces to society about that I can buy a drink for?

Late to the party here but I moved to another part of the country and I work from home so won't be making friends through work.

I'm a cyclist so joining a local club helped me find new people.
My wife found some girls looking for new friendships (also new to the area) on Facebook. I think she may have joined the towns Facebook group. They meet once or twice a month.

You might be right, I just hate the megacorp socials. I'd almost rather force myself to learn how to be normal and make friends
