My only recommendations- look for usenet providers hosted in the netherlands. They have been the most reliable.

Also, if you use multiple providers (improves reliability), make sure to get providers from different parents.

Lots of the providers are just re-sellers, and will be hit with the same DMCAs equally. By- choosing providers from different "roots", you can mitigate this issue.

Yup. It's all public information, easily accessible.

Nothing on lemmy is really private.

Comes in handy. Especially to determine that ONE USER who downvotes literally every comment i make on some servers...

And- yes- it was @nohbdyuno@sh.itjust.works who as usual, also downvoted this comment.

He/She/They is my dedicated follower I suppose.

Easy way- just look at the post on kbin. It shows upvotes/downvotes.

Harder way- just query the database.
