Not opposing Putin would cost FAR more in the long term.
Also...
Most of the equipment is obsolete or excess stock.
A lot of the financial aid is under the lend lease program meaning Ukraine has to pay a percentage back.
The US subsides the oil industry to the tune of $20 billion a year, so how about you start there.
I'm not big on war but Putin needs to be stopped and while it is costing us in the west some money. It's costing Ukrainians their lives.
So show a little fucking gratitude.
That would cost less than what is spent now. So why pretend it is blocked by unrelated topics?
