Hi, I'd like to delete my account. I have pressed the delete account button and it says "Your request for account deletion is sent"

How long does this take?

Your account is located on another instance.

The best I can do is ban your account from our instance, which I have done.

If you ever want it unbanned, just let me know and I will for so.

I think you might have banned the wrong user. OP's account is on kbin.social.

That user called 'admin' is not on kbin.social so either he's trolling, or OP has indeed just been banned from a random Lemmy instance.

You're right! I'm embarrassed I didn't even think to check that. What a strange conversation this is. We could use more obvious instance indicators.
