Hey everyone, this is kinda a nothing post but I just wanted to express my excitement in discovering the existence of this community. I migrated from Reddit and one thing that I really missed was the EmulationOnAndroid sub. So I hope that we can once again be able to discuss about playing games in ways they were not meant to be played and collectively blow the minds of our younger selves.

For the sake of discussion, which games made you really get into emulation on android?

For me, it was Lost Vikings on the SNES. It's a really fun puzzle game with a unique mechanic based on switching between your 3 main characters. I still can't believe no one, AFAIK, has replicated this game mechanic since.

Oh and sorry if this post is a bit long.

Final fantasy series. I used to play Final Fantasy 2 on a J2ME. After playing it through. I learned more about the seires and later tried some NES emulation. Playing old RPGs on your hardware without actually having the console in question was very neat, which sold me on emulation. Modern-day smartphones are very powerful, and the things they can do compared to a decade ago is neat. I, too, am excited for the future.
