My appeal was ignored as well. I even gave them an example of a thread with dozens of comments that were just like mine but against a corporate executive asking what the difference was and they still just gave me the canned response. The only conclusion I can draw from that is the Reddit admins must want to create a safe space for child molesters specifically.
Shit, I didn't even get the canned response, I was just ignored outright.
They were probably too busy looking for kids to diddle.
