Sync for Reddit used to have this feature, but I think it was removed before the app was shutdown.

Just out of curiosity, what was the reason for removal and is it possible to implement this feature to Sync for Lemmy in the future?

I think this was happening across most 3rd party apps and it was something on Google's side
