That's actually a boomer opinion, plenty of zoomers send messages full of emotes over text or whatsapp, like this ๐
I know because I'm in my mid 20s and pretty much everyone does that. Maybe a South African thing? I don't know
I doubt they do the
thing of chaining ๐๐๐๐ emojis to hide their rage.
I'm not talking about using emojis; I use tons of them on Hexbear. I'm talking about ๐๐๐๐ in particular, especially while the user is obviously mad at something.
Nah that definitely happens. I see plenty of ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ, ๐๐๐, and ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ daily. And the cat versions like ๐น. Sometimes all of them together. Some of it to hide something they're obviously mad about. But it's all light hearted, it's never like a serious thing.
Might be a local thing.
I see plenty of emojis used by the kids I work with but they don't seem to use that one much at all, but yeah I see the cat one. They like the poop one a lot more.
When boomers put up notices about how "NO ONE WANTS TO WORK ANYMORE" on their small business tyrannies and put ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ ๐๐๐ around it, that's not very light hearted.
Yeah I mean the kids are being light hearted, the boomers are obviously seriously mad lol.
It's probably a local thing with chat apps like WhatsApp fully replacing text messaging over here
I'm not anti-emoji at all but the "I'M NOT MAD LOOK AT HOW MANY ๐คฃ ๐ ๐คฃ ๐ ๐คฃ ๐ ๐คฃ ๐ I USED" is pure
and accordingly 
uses them a lot.
