[NEWM-Atha] Hyprland is cool, but have you tried Newm ?

Newm is a wayland compositor in the style of paperwm. It's designed to be more touchpad centric and better for laptop. The original github is unmaintained but there is a fork here
It's really worth a try. My dotfiles are not public yet, but I would be more than happy to help you with configuration directly in comments here. Feel free to ask or join the newm-atha discord
I'm happy to see that there are more alternatives to sway and hypland, the more options the better
