Coffee grows on Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and recently in a little bit in CA (to add to water problems)

But Labor + limited amounts means it won't be cheaper

enable for roles with more locked down PCs and tasks the companies hope to automate, and disable on more core mission critical IT..

Ask yourself what this feature is actually useful for. Ignore the concerns of privacy just what can this really do.

Its not really needed for copilot, if it wanted to capture what you were doing it would directly update the internal model, no reason for the slide show of your action.

No besides wasteing disk space this is for:

  1. Gaming youtubers to get a screen shot of something when they were not recording
  2. Some screen shots of history when searching not better than the file/website preview really
  3. Tracking and logging what the end user is doing so when audited by the manager/it they can use it as proof you are not doing it right/are inefficient /should ve fired

By all means a company can disable this in policy im sure, but its for the enterprise not the end user. (and yes stored locally, but if you delete the laptop when they want to inspect it that likely is all the excuse they need)

Honestly, windows gamers upgrade to windows 11, Linux users stay on Linux, and everyone else is on android/ios and in no hurry to do anything about the laptop collecting dust most of the time.

Companies are also more likely to pay the extended support a year or two and update when the computer is replaced.

Its only on here on the fediverse people have time to complain about windows 11. (well some of the gamers might but more likely due to unstable systems on the newest i9 chips, since you launch steam, discord and a browser and alt tab between them.. ignoring the start menu)

i mean if its like most transit in the US they just think busses are useless.. My nearest bus stop is just out my window not that i see much need its a infrequent scheduled to no where useful.. I think they need to talk about 15min house to riding the bus.. not just distance in this case

in many suburbs there are just no sidewalks, and busy multi lane roads.. So even if its under a mile away, you can't walk there.

If you are in and older town, with the old downtown, its not so bad. So most people in east coast cities, and older towns have access to walk into town. There are exceptions accross the contry.. However Any Town USA has its stores in a strip mall with a wallmart on a busy strode and no foot access.

But the local goverment can prevent bars in strip malls, on strides with no walking or transit access.

The town needs to make the downtown walkable, and ideally accessable by walking. The rest is just local businesses buying / renting store fronts, may be a local pub, cafe, fruit stand, toy store ect.

Now maybe there is an overlap between what i considered a bar/pub and what those replying are calling a resturaunt since i want something like i have here in Madison NJ: a few pubs to get dinner and a pint 15min walk into town.. Yes this is at bar seating because im on my own.. But they all have dining rooms, and casual fare with much of the clients being families of all ages just having a meal in town.

Im confused about (from the poll)

  • bar.. if this is not walkable you are promoting drunk driving. (even if its not your thing)
  • what do you need to walk to the gas station for? or is this being used also as a corner store?

Ignoring anything I subscribe online for and can’t cancel example (Just cancelled my cable internet was more painful than ID like)?

Any service that tries to auto deliver me another product in a monthly and won't let me order one without the auto replenish. (Example: Meal services and the like you tubers like to promote, but I’ve been seeing many things attempt this lately)
